Our Story

In September of 2000 Proxima.US founders Patrick Lynch and Mike Bougie met on a project and instantly recognized the Leadership, Knowledge and commitment to Quality in each other's work. In the following years the founders continued to work to together whenever possible, always with the same result: quality project delivery executed in a timely fashion.
Within weeks of their first meeting, the founders explored the subject of outsourcing IT and business services to rural parts of the United States. Both Patrick and Mike are from small towns and had to move to urban areas for better career opportunities and professional development. We have discovered that there are many other highly skilled professionals from small towns that also have the strong desire to "go home". Proxima.US provides career opportunities in non-metropolitan areas for skilled knowledge workers and develop the next generation of knowledge worker in rural environments.

All homecoming nostalgia aside, there are very real competitive advantages to rural outsourcing.
